Phase 1

Phase 1 (Kiddiwinkles, Nursery & Reception) – Phase Leader – Mrs Oliver

In EYFS at Grangetown Primary we celebrate the individuality of every child.  Here we focus on the core principles of the EYFS which emphasise that each child is unique and posses their own strengths and interests.  Our aim is to nurture these unique qualities ensuring that every child’s learning journey is both enjoyable and fulfilling.

We believe that fostering positive relationships is key to a child’s development.  Our warm and caring environment encourages children to explore, communicate and build lasting connections with their peers and key adults.  This creates a wonderful atmosphere where curiosity thrives.

Our approach is centred on igniting a child’s natural curiosity, allowing them to ask questions, experiment and discover the world around them. We provide a rich variety of engaging activities that stimulate their imaginations and promote critical thinking skills.

Together with Parents and Carers we ensure that each child experiences the joy of learning in a supportive and inspiring environment making their formative years truly magical.
